Monster Hunter Wilds’ Next Update Finally Brings Back Lagiacrus

At last, it’s on its way! The legendary Leviathan from our favorite series will soon be joining Monster Hunter Wilds as part of the forthcoming Summer Update.

In every quest, this Leviathan is expected to significantly up the ante, offering a tougher fight for players seeking a more demanding combat encounter. Yet, there’s buzz among fans that it might be a fresh raid boss, much like Monster Hunter World introduced Safi’Jiva and Alatreon.

As a fervent admirer of the mighty Lagiacrus, I can’t claim to definitively know its moveset, but based on my experiences and those of seasoned hunters, we have a pretty good guess. This thunderous Leviathan is infamous for storing up electrifying energy within its body, ready to unleash devastating attacks at a moment’s notice.

Players initially learned about Lagiacrus’ existence within the game from prematurely leaked data. Data miners have also found what seems like its nest in the Scarlet Forest, which could possibly be the site of the upcoming raid event.

Some people have pondered whether the upcoming raid will incorporate a swimming feature, since there are several pre-programmed swimming scenes in the Scarlet Forest.

Furthermore, researchers have uncovered traces of Seregios and Zinogre within the game’s data archives, hinting that these beloved creatures might make a comeback, even more formidable than before.

Regarding the upcoming Summer Title Update, a specific launch date hasn’t been revealed just yet. But keep an eye out, as it should drop sometime within the first half of June.
