After learning that Monster Hunter Wilds sold over 10 million copies within its first month, director Yuya Tokuda shared additional information about Title Update 1. This update will be available on April 3rd for all platforms at no cost. It includes Arch-Tempered Rey Dau, Mizutsune, the Grand Hub, and the reintroduction of Arena Quests.
Players are able to engage a more challenging version of Mizutsune in an eight-star quest, accessible for Hunter Rank 41 and above. Starting from the end of May, eight-star variants of Tempered monsters such as Gore Magala, Rey Dau, Uth Duna, Nu Udra, and Jin Dahaad will also be added to the game.
To balance the perception that their Tempered versions are too simple, these eight-star beasts have undergone modifications. They now boast enhanced health and resistance to being wounded, a change that could make it more challenging to incapacitate them. Moreover, multiplayer scaling is due for some alterations, although specifics remain undisclosed at this time.
In addition, Tokuda assured that upcoming revisions would introduce tougher adversaries. It’s possible we might see stronger variants of current monsters, so keep a lookout for more information.
You can play the game “Monster Hunter World” on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, or your personal computer. Our review of this game earned it an impressive score of eight out of ten.
