More Signs of Sanity in Hollywood

Hulk Hogan’s 2024 Trump endorsement turned a few heads in Hollywood.

The initial move did not lead to a change in culture or permit others to follow suit without facing repercussions. However, Zachary Levin’s later endorsement of Donald Trump drew even more attention.

As a fervent admirer, I’d rephrase that sentence like this: After facing two box office flops with “Harold and the Purple Crayon” and “Shazam! Fury of the Gods,” the alum of “Chuck” was aware that aligning with MAGA ideology wouldn’t necessarily boost his career opportunities. He openly acknowledged this fact during that period.

Sylvester Stallone’s warm welcome towards the 45th and 47th presidents seemed larger and more surprising than expected.

Currently, two additional influential figures in the entertainment industry are standing against the prevailing opinions in Hollywood. While these instances remain individual occurrences for now, as they accumulate, they will undoubtedly increase the autonomy that celebrities have in making decisions.

That’s a good thing, of course.

Over the last three decades, the esteemed film producer Brian Grazer has been associated with numerous blockbuster movies.

  • “Apollo 13”
  • “A Beautiful Mind”
  • “Splash”
  • “Kindergarten Cop”
  • “The Nutty Professor”
  • “Frost/Nixon”

A recently released FOX Nation documentary series had an interesting conversation with the 73-year-old Grazer, a frequent Democratic campaign contributor. To everyone’s surprise, Grazer revealed that he supported Donald Trump in the upcoming 2024 election. He shared this information in “Art of the Surge,” confessing his apprehension about potential backlash from this decision.

Remember, the Blacklist 2.0 is alive and well, at least for now.

Grazer referenced President Joe Biden’s “hidden” decline as part of his rationale for the decision.

It’s evident that some individuals continue to challenge the conventional wisdom of their industry, choosing instead to exercise independent judgment, and they do so openly in public.

Especially in public.

Similar to their experiences, Tom Felton, well-known for portraying Draco Malfoy in the “Harry Potter” series, has found himself aligned with his fellow cast members who have publicly criticized author J.K. Rowling for dismissing certain aspects of the transgender community’s beliefs. This literary universe created by Rowling catapulted them to wealth and fame.

Lately, Rowling has criticized individuals who advocate for transgender women competing alongside biological females in sports.

Not Felton.

Through a return on Broadway’s “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” the actor is reprising his role, making an appearance on the red carpet recently. However, he chose not to adhere strictly to J.K. Rowling’s guidelines concerning her work.

The Legacy Media and the Left, but we repeat ourselves, loathe her.

When inquired about whether the author’s views on gender identity influence their work, the celebrity responded: “Not that I notice. Frankly, I’m not particularly focused on it… I haven’t found anything to unite the world as much as Harry Potter has. It’s due to her that this unity exists, so I am extremely grateful.

It doesn’t seem like there’s a massive shift in thinking among celebrities as a group. However, The Resistance 2.0 has picked up momentum after an initial slow period. Celebrities continue to take significant risks by challenging the prevailing progressive perspective, and they often criticize J.K. Rowling, Donald Trump, or any other figure leaning towards the right.

Continually, as stars express their thoughts fearlessly, it will result in more freedom for artists to form their own opinions.
