As a passionate fan of fashion and all things Italian, I was absolutely thrilled to see Adrian Appiolaza’s debut campaign for Moschino. His vision for the brand is not only clear but also deeply rooted in Moschino’s theatrical identity with a romantic Italian twist.
At the February fashion show, Adrian Appiolaza made his entrance as Moschino’s new Creative Director, filling in for Davide Renne who tragically passed away unexpectedly. Appiolaza’s creative vision is distinct, focusing on Moschino’s dramatic flair with an Italian romantic twist. Following his debut menswear collection at Milan Fashion Week, the Fall/Winter 2024 campaign from Appiolaza is sure to put a smile on your face.
Willy Vanderperre, a Belgian photographer, captured the vibrant and uplifting Italian way of life in the “Collezione 0” campaign. Appiolaza’s debut women’s clothing line is showcased with broad smiles as five women engage in lively experiences in Rome. Moschino’s collection exudes charm as it highlights the elegance of everyday errands, from visiting Milano’s Duomo to browsing through local record markets.
At the supermarket, large trench coats are paired with pearls and snakeskin gloves as customers seek fresh styles in silk uniforms boasting patterns and scarf embellishments. Massive “LOVE” shirts are accompanied by ruffled skirts and fishnet bags in Italian flag colors, concluding the campaign on a Milan rooftop with a cheerful pullover emblazoned with a smiley face.
