As a hardcore gamer and avid fan of both basketball and TV shows, I can’t help but get excited about the new Peacock comedy series “Mr. Throwback.” The fact that NBA legend Stephen Curry is making his first scripted television appearance in this project is already a huge draw for me. I have always admired Curry’s skills on the court and his humility off it, so I’m looking forward to seeing him in a different light.

The show’s mockumentary style focuses on a struggling memorabilia dealer (Adam Pally), seeking redemption by reconnecting with his former sixth-grade basketball teammate – none other than the legendary NBA player Stephen Curry. Ego Nwodim and Ayden Mayeri are also part of the talented cast.
