As a long-time Call of Duty gamer with countless hours under my belt, I’ve grown accustomed to the mundane weapon inspections that have always been a part of the console experience. They were never particularly exciting or noteworthy. But boy, has Modern Warfare 3 in Season 5 changed the game!
In Call of Duty games, gun inspections haven’t exactly been a fan-favorite feature. The exception might be when you acquire a shiny, golden Deagle. However, on the console side of the franchise, it has generally been considered rather ordinary.
Except for CoD Mobile, which adopted a similar inspection methodology to VALORANT and gave special attention to one specific weapon, resulting in an extensive cinematic presentation.
Modern Warfare 3 adds the wildest weapon inspection ever in Season 5

At the same time as MW3 Season 5, Activision will introduce two fresh Blueprint designs. These new Blueprints significantly enhance creativity.
In the initial viral inspection, gamers capture a vibrant, flying creature resembling an electric eel with a violaceous hue. This creature pursues tiny “fishy bullets” across their screens and returns them to their weapon chambers.
The second one is just as noteworthy; upon using a new sniper design, the weapon disintegrates in a stunning supernova of shattering pieces, only for it to be reassembled with the .50 cal bullets fitting neatly into the bronze template.
This might be the craziest weapon inspection in Call of Duty 🤯

Fans are praising the fresh new animations, delighting in the injected creativity that breathes life into a game often criticized for its monotonous color scheme.
On Twitter, a fan expressed disbelief by saying, “Mastercraft’s value is surprisingly legitimate, I can hardly believe it!” Another fan praised the weapon inspections, stating, “These inspections are more captivating than the actual game itself.”
Call of Duty is taking the VALORANT approach with its inspection game
Activison is conducting wild blueprint inspections at this time to gauge the reaction of fans and determine if introducing such changes could be taking things too far.
The response has been overwhelming so far, and perhaps the publishers are considering making these VALORANT inspections more innovative based on the feedback received.
However, it’s important to note that Riot Games’ newest bundle, featuring the Evori Dreamwings collection with furry assistants for inspections, retails at an impressive $70. This could potentially lead to further increases in Activision’s microtransaction prices if this trend continues.
