As a long-time devotee of all things cinematic and digital, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming fourth season of “Mythic Quest” on AppleTV+! At long last, we’ve got a firm date in our calendars for the grand return of one of my favorite shows – the hilarious nerdy workplace comedy, “Mythic Quest”, airing on AppleTV+. In an exciting announcement, Apple has confirmed that this masterpiece conceived by the talented minds of Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Megan Ganz will grace our screens on Wednesday, January 29, with a double dose to kick things off! The remaining eight episodes will then follow, one per week. Can’t wait to jump back into this epic journey together!
Besides this, here’s another exciting piece of news: The company unveiled not just one but two upcoming series – Side Quest, and they even revealed the premiere date for it: March 26th. Interestingly, that’s also the day the final episode of season four of Mythic Quest will stream. So gear up for an enchanting journey, brace yourself for a fight, and make sure your eyes are ready for some extraordinary visual effects! It looks like we have plenty of gaming ahead.
What Happened In ‘Mythic Quest’ Season Three?
In case you forgot, season three of Mythic Quest found Ian (McElhenney) and Poppy (Charlotte Nicdao) embarking on a solo venture to develop a new game and secure venture capital investment for it. However, as we know from the storyline — spoiler alert — things don’t go as planned, but this shared endeavor ultimately brings them closer than ever before and reveals the unique magic in their professional partnership, complete with its imperfections.
At the end of the season, Poppy and Ian come to understand that their relationship doesn’t require fixing, leading them to return to Mythic Quest, determined to make the most of their current circumstances. While some viewers felt the season moved slowly at times, its conclusion promises a thrilling comeback.

The cast includes Rob McElhenney, Anna Konkle, Derek Waters, William Stanford Davis, Bria Henderson, Rome Flynn, Leonard Robinson, Gary Kraus, Annamarie Kasper, Esai Morales, Shalta Grant, and numerous others. Each of the four episodes appears to be a self-contained story that links back to the broader game world.
