In collaboration yet again, the Tokyo-based outdoor brand nanamica and Converse team up. They first partnered in 2023, marking Converse’s 115th anniversary by releasing a special edition navy All Star shoe made from GORE-TEX materials.
Approximately one and a half years after the initial release, Nanamica and Converse have introduced a fresh version of their All-Star model. This new iteration, much like its predecessor, is geared towards outdoor use, with the latest All Star Nanamica GORE-TEX HI, now available in a soft cream color.
The GORE-TEX upper of the shoe is entirely cotton, treated to be water repellant. The rubber sole and toe are just a shade darker, giving the sneaker a sleek monochromatic look.
The cost of the Nanamica Converse All Star GORE-TEX HI is set at ¥22,000 JPY ($153 USD), with its release taking place both online and at specific Nanamica stores on September 27.
