Nargis Fakhri’s sister Aliya arrested for murder of her ex-boyfriend and his female friend in New York, denied bail? REPORT

As a long-time admirer and follower of Nargis Fakhri’s career, I have always been captivated by her charisma and talent. However, recent events surrounding her sister Aliya Fakhri have left me utterly shocked and saddened.

Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri is currently drawing attention, but unfortunately not due to positive reasons. According to various reports, it appears that Nargis’ sister, Aliya Fakhri, has been arrested in New York City for a serious crime: the alleged murder of her ex-boyfriend and his female companion. A local newspaper in New York reported that the incident involved setting fire to a house, which ultimately resulted in the tragic deaths of two individuals.

As per a report from New York Daily News, Nargis Fakhri’s sister, Aliya Fakhri, was apprehended on charges of murdering her former boyfriend, Edward Jacobs, and his female companion, Anastasia Ettienne, in Queens, New York. Allegedly, the 43-year-old is said to have initiated a fire in a two-story garage, resulting in their deaths due to smoke inhalation and burn injuries.

According to news accounts, it appears that Aliya harbored jealous feelings towards her ex-boyfriend’s increasing closeness with a female friend. Acting upon this jealousy, she allegedly ignited a house fire intended to harm both individuals. In a statement, District Attorney Melinda Katz asserted that the defendant deliberately caused the deaths of two people by setting ablaze a fire which ultimately confined a man and woman within a fiercely burning blaze.

In a heartbreaking turn of events, the victims perished due to smoke inhalation and burn injuries, as stated by Katz. Following her arrest, she was also refused bail during her court appearance at Queens Criminal Court. Upon learning this sad news, Nargis Fakhri’s mother expressed her disbelief to the New York Daily News, stating, “I can’t imagine her taking someone’s life.

She mentioned that her daughter, who stands accused, is generally a compassionate individual who strives to aid others. Yet, she acknowledged that Aliya battled opioid dependency following a complication with a dental procedure, an issue that likely influenced her altered conduct.
