As a long-time fan of both Natasha Lyonne and Jennifer Coolidge, I found their encounter at the Chateau Marmont to be a delightful tale of Hollywood confusion. It’s fascinating to witness such an exchange between two accomplished actresses who have graced our screens with their talent for decades.

She shared that Coolidge merely expressed, “Oh! I thought you were Hilary Duff,” to which Lyonne responded, “I’m not,” and that was the end of it.
Lyonne jokingly said, ‘Perhaps I’m mistaken for Keith Richards, but more likely I resemble Hilary Duff to you all.’
In the movie adaptation of the timeless fairy tale “Cinderella Story,” Coolidge played the villainous stepmother to Sam, portrayed by Duff. Interestingly, Coolidge also acted alongside Lyonne in the 1999 film titled “American Pie.
