As a die-hard binge-watcher with a knack for discussing scenes from my favorite shows ad nauseam, I can’t help but feel Netflix has heard my prayers and answered them with the introduction of their Moments feature. It‘s like they’ve read my mind, or maybe my endless Facebook posts about Stranger Things battles or Squid Game sequences!
Netflix has simplified the process for users to share memorable moments from films and series with their companions. This new function, named Moments, enables users to store and transmit chosen clips as they watch.
As a devoted viewer, I can tell you that when it comes to adrenaline-pumping scenes from Squid Game or epic battles in Stranger Things, all I need to do is tap the Moments button at the bottom of my screen and voila! The thrilling sequence gets saved right away on my My Netflix Tab. Later on, I have the freedom to share a link to that Moment or post the video onto social media platforms for friends to enjoy too.
The new feature makes it effortless for users to easily refer back to specific scenes in movies while posting on social media, creating a smoother conversation flow.
Currently, Moments can be found on iOS devices worldwide, but unfortunately, Android users haven’t had the chance to use it yet. However, Netflix has announced that they aim to introduce this feature for Android devices within the upcoming weeks.
