Pop Mart, the company behind the popular viral toys, unveiled a new character within their Monsters universe and recently launched a series focused on Labubu called “Big Into Energy.”

These charming trinkets, sold in mystery boxes, are now essential for anyone wanting to infuse some playful excitement into their outfits. From stars like Lisa of White Lotus and Blackpink, as well as Dua Lipa, these fashionable accessories have been making appearances everywhere. It seems that Lisa particularly appreciates Pop Mart products, having showcased the Cry Baby bag charms from the company at Coachella in a recent post.

On Thursday evening, The Monsters Big Into Energy experienced a rapid sell-out on Pop Mart’s website, but they are still available online at Kicks Crew. This latest collection includes six vibrant figurines, plus a mystery version that purchasers have a 1 in 72 chance of acquiring. Each figure – Love, Hope, Serenity, Luck, Happiness, and Loyalty – carries its unique significance. In this new series, the distinctive sharp teeth of Big Into Energy Labubu are subtly altered; each figurine has one tooth painted to coordinate with its fur color.
In the world of Pop Mart’s “The Monsters,” depicted in full scale at their Beijing attraction, Pop Land, we find a group of elves residing in the enchanting Nordic woods. One such elf is Labubu, who belongs to The Monsters and is described as playful and curious, much like an ordinary house cat, with a penchant for innocent pranks. As stated in a press release, these mischievous creatures were brought to life by artist Kasing Lung in 2015, and he entered into a collaboration with Pop Mart in 2019.
