Sonakshi Sinha recently got married to her long-time partner Zaheer Iqbal following seven years of courtship. They officially tied the knot on June 23, 2024, in a civil wedding ceremony. In an interview with Zoom, when asked about their plans for starting a family, they responded just like any other newlywed couple would.
Immediately upon being asked this question, Sonakshi quickly replied, “Just like our parents didn’t ask us this question either.” Zaheer Iqbal then continued, “At the moment, we’re simply cherishing our newlywed bliss. For now, let us savor our time together. We both look forward to having children someday, but for now, it’s all about enjoying our time as a couple.
After Sonakshi’s wedding, there were many whispers because her father, Shatrughan Sinha, was frequently visited by Sonakshi at the hospital. This fueled rumors that the Double XL actress might be expecting her first child. However, earlier, when these speculations surfaced, Sinha had playfully suggested that hospital visits might not be the best plan after getting married.
Shatrughan Sinha jokingly told Times Now that he can no longer visit hospitals because it seems to others like he’s pregnant whenever he steps out. However, shortly afterward, he was released from the hospital following minor health issues.

She disclosed that the wedding date mirrored the same day in 2017, when she and her partner first acknowledged their love and viewed it as eternal.
