As a seasoned industry insider with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia when I see The Hollywood Reporter‘s Next Generation issue gracing our screens once more. It’s like a time capsule, showcasing the brightest and boldest minds that will soon be shaping the entertainment landscape.
Over the last thirty years, The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Next Generation issue – THR’s esteemed list featuring the year’s 35 most promising individuals under 35 – has consistently highlighted emerging leaders in Hollywood. Notable figures such as Donna Langley, Bela Bajaria and Kevin Feige are among those who have been recognized on this list.
Do you know someone who should be on the list?
The Thirty Heavies (THR) is currently open for online applications for its upcoming 31st edition of the Next Gen list, scheduled to release on November 20. This prestigious list will highlight 35 promising figures who are expected to shape the future of the entertainment industry in various roles such as agents, managers, film/TV producers, digital media experts, and legal advisors. To apply, ensure you provide details about the candidate’s projects or clients, giving specific examples whenever possible.
Nominees must be 35 or younger on Nov. 20, 2024. The deadline for submissions is Sept. 6.
Please record your entries in this space. (Remember, a single robust nomination carries more weight compared to multiple repetitive submissions.)
