Nicholas Galitzine Teases He-Man Costume as ‘Masters of the Universe’ Wraps Production

According to Nicholas Galitzine, the filming for the live-action Masters of the Universe movie has been completed.

On Sunday, the actor shared a sneak peek of his He-Man costume on Instagram, and expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming project that’s inspired by the iconic Mattel toy series.

With that, Masters of the Universe has come to an end, as expressed in the post’s caption by its star from The Idea of You. It was a privilege to carry the burden of portraying Adam and He-Man. This role was exceptional, and I poured my heart into it. Unfortunately, there isn’t much I can share, but I am incredibly proud of the movie we created together. A big thank you goes out to our remarkable cast and crew for your tireless efforts.

In the upcoming Amazon MGM film “Masters of the Universe,” directed by Travis Knight, the specific plot points are being kept secret. However, the central narrative revolves around Prince Adam of Eternia (Galitzine). With his special Power Sword, he transforms into He-Man, gaining extraordinary strength and abilities. These powers enable him to protect his home planet and Castle Grayskull.

In this movie, Chris Butler has written the screenplay. The cast includes Camila Mendes as Teela, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Idris Elba portraying Duncan/Man-at-Arms, Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress, James Purefoy in the role of King Randor, Alison Brie playing Evil-Lyn, Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Malcolm/Fisto, Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson in the character of Goat Man, Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops, Sasheer Zamata taking on Suzie, Jon Xue Zhang as Ram-Man, and Christian Vunipola in Hussein.

Earlier this week, Mendes posted on TikTok that she had finished filming her character Teela. In the post’s caption, she wrote, “All my adventures have come to an end – that’s a wrap on Masters of the Universe!!

Masters of the Universe is set to hit theaters on June 5, 2026.
