As a longtime sneaker enthusiast who’s been chasing the elusive grail since my days on the concrete jungle playgrounds of Brooklyn, I can’t help but be captivated by this upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low drop. The L’Art de L’Automobile-inspired design is a fresh take on an iconic silhouette, and the matte nubuck leather upper in deep ink green and black is a perfect blend of stealth and style.
Product Name: Nike Air Force 1 Low
Similar to the Nike Air Force 1 Low Collection inspired by L’Art de L’Automobile, the latest AF1 Low is crafted from a matte nubuck leather upper that appears black in certain angles but reveals a deep ink green shade under light. This unique color contrasts with the solid black hue, resulting in a subtle yet intriguing visual effect that’s visible on the tongue, laces, sockliner, Swoosh logos, and outsole.
Instead of the big, textured Swoosh on the side, there’s now a rubberized one. Inside the shoe, the logo has been downsized and embroidered in Anthracite color close to the inner heel. On top, you’ll find a black rubber Air-Sole unit. The signature “AIR” lettering is still present near the heel.
