Nike and MoMA Design Store Launches First Official Collaboration

As a gamer with a deep appreciation for both fashion and footwear, this latest collaboration between Nike and MoMA Design Store has me absolutely thrilled! Being a child of the ’80s, I vividly remember the iconic Air Force 1 sneakers gracing the feet of my idols in the arcade. To see these two giants join forces to create limited-edition co-branded products that celebrate movement and design is nothing short of fantastic.

Nike and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) Design Store have unveiled their first joint collaboration, offering a limited collection of unique and branded items. Historically, these two entities have shared a strong bond, and this time around, they’re broadening their partnership with an exclusive line of product drops that fuse fitness and fashion aesthetics.

The collaboration between Nike and MoMA starts with the launch of a special edition product line featuring Nike Everyday Socks. This unique partnership highlights the shared focus on movement and design between the two entities, drawing inspiration from everyday items. Although this isn’t their first business venture together, it does represent the debut of official Nike x MoMA Design Store products becoming available.

In the newest joint collection, the first item is a sock collaboration between Nike and MoMA. This sock, dubbed the MoMA Nike Everyday Sock, features both the famous Nike Swoosh and MoMA branding on the calf area. The classic “Just Do It” phrase is embroidered at the toe section. The socks come in traditional colors of white, blue, green, pink, and yellow. Currently, Nike and MoMA are planning more joint releases, but for now, they will only be offering a variety of vibrant socks that are currently available online at MoMA for $18 USD per pair.
