NN.07 Pre-Fall '25 Draws Inspiration From the Italian Coast

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for fashion, I must say that NN.07’s Pre-Fall ’25 collection is a visual tour de force that transports me straight to the sun-kissed shores of the Italian Riviera. The Mediterranean color palette and continental techniques are an ode to the continent’s rich textile heritage, a fact I appreciate as much as my high score in Civilization VI’s Mediterranean map.

For the upcoming Pre-Fall ’25 season, NN.07 has revealed a visual guide showcasing their collection, reminiscent of a vacation along the Italian Riviera. The pieces feature breezy summer materials adorned with delicate floral embroideries and textured knit patterns.

The central theme of this collection revolves around a deep ocean blue and warm terracotta brown, with hints of pistachio green and shades of beige. Yet it’s the intricate textures that really capture your attention, showcased in a geometric Fil Coupe jacquard, cotton Broderie Anglaise, and a floral embroidered voile made from Tencel. The Mediterranean color scheme and European crafting methods give this collection a distinctly Italian feel.

The focus lies mainly in the top part, which features the most vibrant colors and intricate details. A standout piece is a vivid blue chore jacket that evokes memories of old French workwear. For colder evenings, NN.07 provides a stylish mid-length coat and a cozy fisherman’s sweater in a pleasant off-white shade.

The Broderie Anglaise is noticeable on a short-sleeve indigo button-up, accentuated by white threadwork. A soft, embroidered voile is subtly used in a green camp collar shirt with a muted tone. Among the t-shirts, a knit top featuring a fuzzy pineapple design with multi-colored stripes stands out when worn over a white polo shirt.

In another glance, a brown wavy knit shirt with a collar and a yellow striped vest are paired with wide-legged terracotta pants. The foundation of the collection primarily consists of looks in solid colors, ranging from lighter to darker neutral tones. The pants and shorts within the collection have deep pleats, such as a pair of blue pinstripe linen trousers that showcase this design.

The Copenhagen brand, based in the city, recently collaborated with SLOP Magazine, experimenting with whimsical stitching and designs. Last summer, their shirts showcased embroidered strawberries on vines, while this February they introduced a tee adorned with a two-toned gourd pattern.

NN.07’s Pre-Fall ’25 collection will be available at NN.07’s web store and locations in April 2025.
