Noah Beck Hopes Paychecks From Acting Will Take “Weight Off” Social Media Career

As a gamer who has been following Noah Beck‘s journey since his soccer days and his meteoric rise on TikTok, I must say I am genuinely impressed by his resilience and adaptability. From chasing his dream of professional soccer to becoming a social media sensation, and now diving headfirst into acting, he has proven that he is not one to shy away from challenges.

Noah Beck is ready for more challenges outside of his social media presence.

A popular TikTok personality, fresh off his first film appearance in “Sidelined: The QB and Me” on Tubi, has shared with People magazine his transition from content production to acting, and expressed his aspirations for further growth in the glamorous world of Hollywood.

Before achieving fame on TikTok in 2020, Beck harbored a different ambition. He shared, “Professional soccer was my primary goal and I had no backup plan… As a child, I wasn’t aware of any other path I wanted to pursue.

After I had to leave the University of Portland, where I played Division 1 soccer, due to the unexpected arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself gaining popularity on TikTok almost overnight. My social media career took off, earning me over 33 million followers. Yet, despite my success, I began yearning for a fresh endeavor.

As I ventured into the world of acting, I found myself standing at ground zero with minimal knowledge about it. Yet, here I am, having secured a guest role in Disney’s Doogie Kamealoha, M.D., and subsequently being cast as the star football player Drayton Lahey in Quarterback: A QB and Me. This exciting new journey began on Tubi, premiering November 29.

Moving forward, Beck expressed optimism about potentially securing more acting roles. He reflected on his social media journey by saying, “I believe there may come a point where I won’t be so reliant on it and I won’t feel the constant pressure to remain relevant in order to maintain viewership or income. I hope that acting can alleviate some of this burden.

Although Beck enjoys being self-employed in the field of full-time content creation, he admitted that at times, it can be quite tiring.

He clarified that acting is like coming in for work and leaving at the end of the day. It’s a professional commitment… and he appreciates the organized approach it provides.

Nevertheless, Beck envisions having “the best of two worlds.” He elaborates by expressing a desire to carry on acting while also enjoying engaging with social media.
