NOAH Is Growing Up For Fall/Winter 2024

As a seasoned gamer who’s seen more virtual worlds than I care to remember, I can appreciate the real-world craftsmanship that NOAH brings to its Fall/Winter 2024 collection. Having spent countless hours in pixelated landscapes where clothing options are often limited to pixelated squares or polygons, it’s a breath of fresh air to see such attention to detail in the fabrics and designs.

According to Brendon Babenzien, co-founder and creative director of NOAH, the actions you take are significant, whereas what you wear is less crucial. Let your deeds portray your identity, and use your clothing as a mirror reflecting who you truly are. I’ve heard it suggested that ‘clothes make the man,’ but typically, someone trying to sell something says this. In my opinion, individuals should never allow their attire to dictate their identity. Interestingly, those who are not swayed by fashion trends often appear the most stylish.

The idea behind the Fall/Winter 2024 collection from the New York City imprint, which marks its 10th anniversary, is deeply influenced by this sentiment. As it celebrates its milestone, NOAH matures in its new line, offering more refined versions of several classic silhouettes.

In their latest seasonal launch, NOAH elevates tailoring even further by introducing an innovative, unstructured, and double-breasted cotton suit design for the first time.

The collection’s lookbook showcases Babenzien’s hometown of Long Island, New York, highlighting a stunning array of clothing items such as thick cotton rugby shirts, worn-out fleece sweaters, loose single-pleat chinos, and button-down oxford shirts. Shetland sweaters are meticulously made from wool spun in an 18th-century Scottish mill, while Donegal tweeds unique to Noah are woven exclusively by Ireland’s esteemed Magee mills.

As a fashion enthusiast with a keen eye for quality and innovation, I find the new collection particularly exciting. With my background in sustainable fashion, I appreciate the focus on using recycled materials such as Casentino wool, Donegal tweed, and recycled cotton canvas in the collaboration with Barbour. The iconic Bedale and Border jackets have always been a staple in my wardrobe, so I’m thrilled to see them reimagined in a more eco-friendly light.

Take a peek at all the items showcased in the lookbook up top, then head over to NOAH’s online store this coming Thursday, August 15th, to make your purchases.
