Noah Kahan and L.L.Bean Drop an Outdoor Capsule Inspired by the Singer’s Vermont Upbringing

As a gamer hailing from the frosty climes of New England, I can wholeheartedly appreciate the collaboration between Noah Kahan and L.L.Bean. Growing up in the same region, I too have fond memories of donning my older brother’s Bean Boots, trudging through the snowy wilderness that seems to be the lifeblood of our shared cultural identity.

Artist Noah Kahan collaborated with American outdoor retailer L.L.Bean to create a limited-edition eight-piece collection called Northern Attitude, which will be released on October 22. The collection includes favorite footwear, clothing, and accessories from the brand, all inspired by Kahan’s Vermont roots and paying tribute to the natural beauty of New England.

As a child, the “Stick Season” singer frequently donned his elder brother’s L.L.Bean Bean Boots. Consequently, he felt it necessary to incorporate these iconic shoes into his personal collection. The special edition of these cherished duck boots are available in both women’s and men’s sizes, featuring a robust waxed-canvas exterior, a luxuriously comfortable mesh lining, and an instantly worn-in sensation upon first use.

This Northern Attitude Collection incorporates two popular hats from L.L.Bean: the L.L.Beanie and the Mountain Classic Hat, both displaying the “L.L.Bean & Noah Kahan” emblem in their center. The assortment includes three clothing pieces: a hoodie sweatshirt, a button-down Chamois Shirt, and a Mountain Classic Anorak, each bearing the same “L.L.Bean & Noah Kahan” tag. Furthermore, the sweatshirt boasts the embroidered logo on its front, while the collection is rounded off with a Boat and Tote Zip Pouch.

The clothing from L.L.Bean gives me the sensation of being outdoors, even when I’m indoors, which is significant because for me, spending time outside is a form of self-care, particularly for my mental wellbeing, according to the Grammy-nominated artist. To celebrate this partnership, L.L.Bean has pledged $100,000 to Kahan’s The Busyhead Project, a charitable organization dedicated to promoting mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and offering resources.
