Not Ranbir Kapoor, Triptii Dimri calls Vicky Kaushal her '3 AM friend'; actress shares she is much closer to Bad Newz co-star

As an ardent admirer of Triptii Dimri’s captivating journey in Bollywood, I find myself utterly mesmerized by her meteoric rise to fame and recognition. Her ability to effortlessly transition from a supporting role in Poster Boys to sharing the silver screen with stars like Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal is nothing short of inspiring.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share my journey that’s been illuminated by the success of my latest project, “Animal,” directed by the talented Sandeep Reddy Vanga in 2023. This year, I had the pleasure of being part of Karan Johar’s production, “Bad Newz,” and I must say, it was a fantastic experience.

At the India Today Conclave 2024, Triptii Dimri was posed a question about choosing a close friend between Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal at 3 AM. In response, the Bad Newz actress referred to Vicky as someone similar to her friend.

At the event, Triptii revealed that due to their significant time spent together, particularly during their shoot in Mussoorie, she feels quite close to Vicky. She described him as laid-back and easygoing. Furthermore, she mentioned that Vicky refers to her as his sibling.

Previously, during an interview with the Indian Express, film director Anand Tiwai compared actress Triptii Dimri to Vicky Kaushal, stating that she comes from a deeply grounded upbringing.

Triptii Dimri featured as a supporting actor in the movie “Animal,” starring Ranbir Kapoor, and was chosen to lead roles alongside Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk in “Bad Newz.” The actress captured viewers’ interest due to her electrifying chemistry with both Ranbir and Vicky in their songs Pehle Bhi Main and Jaanam.

2018 saw Triptii making an appearance in Sajid Ali’s film Laila Majnu, which has recently been re-screened in cinemas. Following this, she was involved in Anushka Sharma’s project, Bulbbul, released in 2020, where she teamed up with her Laila Majnu co-star Avinash Tiwary once again. In 2022, Triptii took on a leading role in Anvita Dutt’s directorial endeavor, Qala, sharing the screen with Babil Khan and Swastika Mukherjee.
