Oakley and Cinelli Are Making the Ultimate Biker Glasses

For the very first time, high-performance eyewear brand Oakley and Milan’s renowned cycling company Cinelli have joined forces to launch a collection of sunglasses that embody their shared dedication, enthusiasm, and the exhaustion often associated with cycling.

The collection showcases two distinctive outlines: Cinelli x Oakley’s Latch Panel and Redux glasses in Eye Jacket. The first design incorporates a complete shield lens with a signature latch hinge, detachable side shields, offering protection against glare and other disturbances. In contrast, the second model boasts an eye-catching oval shape that expands upon the original Eye Jacket design from 1994.

Both models feature Race Worn color schemes: the Latch Panel has a black finish along with Prizm Road Black lenses, whereas the Eye Jacket Redux is available in an off-white tone accompanied by Prizm Grey lenses. Moreover, both designs arrive in a custom micro bag and box sleeve.

According to Brian Takumi, Oakley’s vice president of creative and spirit, wearing a ‘Race Worn’ item symbolizes the unique journey that each person experiences. Every person has their own path, and these paths differ greatly. The creation of Race Worn items is done by hand, ensuring that no two are identical, much like how every human being is unique.

Remarkably, this partnership encompasses a custom, handcrafted Raceworn Nemo Gravel Bike manufactured at Cinelli’s Milan headquarters; however, it is not available for purchase.
