As a lifelong fan of both Nike and The Wizard of Oz, I can hardly contain my excitement for this upcoming collaboration! Growing up with Dorothy’s adventures and the iconic sneakers from Nike, it feels like a magical dream come true to see them combined in such a fantastical way.
Product Name: Nike SB Dunk Low – The Wizard of Oz Edition
Latest News: A month ago, we got an advance look at the upcoming collaboration between The Wizard of Oz and Nike SB Dunk Low. This sneaker project not only features a top layer inspired by poppy fields, but also a bottom layer reminiscent of ruby slippers. Now, we’ve received an on-foot preview as we eagerly await its release later in the year. The distinctive color scheme is expected to turn heads this season, and it will be available towards the end of 2024 through Nike SNKRS and select skate shops for $135 USD.
Update: New photos of the The Wizard of Oz-inspired x Nike SB Dunk Low reveal a tearaway-style uppser, revealing a “Red Ruby Slipper” underlayer. Beneath the floral print, the majority of the upper features the same bright red as the Swoosh, using the flower pattern to create a contrast between the shoe’s panels.
Golden threads on the back of the shoe spell out “There’s no place like home.” It appears that this sneaker will make its debut on December 25th as well.

The Nike SB Dunk Low continues to be their most recognized design. Recently, it was featured in a partnership with There Skateboards, and will soon be released in an Oz-themed color scheme, possibly timed with the premiere of Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo’s Wicked musical this year.
Previously, the SB Dunk Low design has borrowed elements from the Oz franchise, with a “Dorothy” edition appearing in 2015. Moving forward to 2024, it appears that this shoe will feature an orchard of poppies-inspired color scheme, consisting of orange, red, yellow, green, and black, which is reminiscent of the film’s scene where Dorothy and The Cowardly Lion rest in a field. Furthermore, the design includes the Wicked Witch of the West on the sockliner and the phrase “No Place Like Home,” which was spoken by Dorothy, emblazoned at the heel.
As I write, the Nike SB team hasn’t yet confirmed a release date for their collaboration with “The Wizard of Oz.” Nevertheless, it is anticipated that this collection will become available later in the year, either through Nike SNKRS or select skate shops. The starting price has been set at $135 USD. Keep an eye out for further updates, such as images of the shoes, as we eagerly wait for more information.
