Orna: The GPS Role-Playing Game has been an engaging debut, with you exploring the actual world to find opponents and engage in traditional turn-based combat against them. This year, Northern Forge Studios is expanding on this real-life connection by participating again in the Green Game Jam.

For seasoned gamers, they’re likely familiar with the narrative of Terra’s Legacy, but for those just starting out, it involves environmentally-themed combat and missions to conquer, in line with the mentioned Green Game Jam. In the upcoming release, the Natureblight and its emissary, the Murk, resurface once more, requiring your character to confront this danger to the ecosystem.

In your journey, you’ll face a formidable foe called The Murk. To combat it, you’ll traverse Orna’s magical realm, teleporting to actual places worldwide that are under threat due to environmental degradation. At these locations, you’ll encounter unique animal protectors, like the Beaver in Prince Edward County, Canada, and the Gorilla within Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Uganda.
