Following numerous appearances at Bollywood events alongside celebrities like Salman Khan, Orhan Awatramani (also known as Orry) has now graced the screen in Ananya Panday’s Call Me Bae and Ibrahim Ali Khan’s debut movie, Nadaaniyan. Lately, he had a chat about his personal and professional journey during an interview with SCREEN magazine.

In early 2023, this social media figure admitted to being overweight and shared his journey from unfit to fit, albeit with some deception involved. He told the press that he weighed approximately 70 kilos at the start of the year and had made a decision to become famous. “Being overweight and famous just doesn’t work,” he said. “Nobody wants to watch an unfit, five-foot boy on TV.”

Although this doesn’t appear healthy, it proved effective for him and he eventually shed the excess pounds. “It may be considered cheating, but I did whatever was necessary to reach my goal,” the celebrity confessed.

Orry expressed his viewpoint that while he doesn’t endorse cheating during games, he supports actions that might be considered as such when it comes to life situations. Putting it in simpler terms, he said, “I don’t like cheating in games, but I would back someone if they’re using Ozempic, or if they’re in multiple relationships, or if a bodybuilder uses steroids.” He summarized his thoughts, saying, “People should do whatever they need to reach their goals.

Last month, Orry and a group of seven others were arrested close to the base camp of the Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir. For more information on the reason behind this arrest, click here!
