Netflix has formally revealed the fresh batch of romantic pairs who will spearhead the second installment of BEEF.
The upcoming season for Inside Llewyn Davis will bring back stars Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan, who will team up with Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny as the main characters. Meanwhile, the second season of BEEF will delve into the tale of a couple who observes a startling altercation between their manager and his spouse. This event sets off a series of strategic maneuvers involving favors and pressure in the exclusive realm of a country club, owned by a wealthy Korean businessman.
It’s been confirmed that the second season will consist of eight, half-hour episodes. A24 and series creator/showrunner Lee Sung Jin plan to rejoin the project, with Jake Schreier and lead actors Steven Yeun and Ali Wong set as executive producers.
In the first season, they collected a total of eight Emmy Awards, four Critics’ Choice Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, two Gotham Awards, two Film Independent Spirit Awards, two Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, as well as honors from the Producers Guild of America (PGA), Writers Guild of America (WGA), and the American Film Institute (AFI).
