Oscars: Timothée Chalamet Sits Front Row With Kylie Jenner, Loses Out on Best Actor

On Sunday evening at the Oscars 2025, all eyes were drawn to Timothée Chalamet, as if he was gracefully strolling under the radiance of the sun.

At the 97th Academy Awards, the 29-year-old was captured on camera while wearing a custom-made, vibrant yellow Givenchy tuxedo. Despite strolling down the red carpet alone, he had a unique companion with him all through the evening.

Prior to the event’s commencement, Timothée Chalamet was seen holding hands and sharing a kiss with his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, within the Dolby Theatre. They occupied seats in the front row, maintaining their affectionate display throughout the evening. The Hollywood Reporter has verified this information.

In the show’s opening, Conan O’Brien hailed Timothée Chalamet, “I dig your outfit, tonight the streets are yours; safe cycling!

Later on, Adam Sandler joined Conan O’Brien during the opening segment, sporting his usual casual attire: a hoodie and basketball shorts. In a friendly banter, O’Brien jokingly scolded him for being underdressed, prompting Sandler to exit the auditorium. However, before leaving, he gave Timothée Chalamet a warm farewell hug.

Sandler said to the Wonka star: “Chalameeetttttt!”

The reference was a tribute to their encounter at the Golden Globes in January, when the host, Nikki Glaser, jokingly commented that Chalamet’s name sounds similar to something Sandler might say.

Timothée Chalamet has been nominated again for Best Actor, this time for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in the biopic titled “A Complete Unknown“. He was previously nominated in 2018 for his role in Luca Guadagnino’s film “Call Me by Your Name“.

Previous victor, Cillian Murphy, graced the stage to reveal that this year’s golden statuette would be awarded to Adrien Brody. Despite Chalamet winning the SAG Award last week and delivering a striking speech expressing his ambition to become one of the legendary figures in the industry.
