As a film enthusiast with a soft spot for heartwarming family movies and a deep appreciation for the whimsical world of Paddington, I must say that my anticipation for “Paddington in Peru” has only grown since hearing about its latest release date. Having spent countless hours watching animated films with my own children, I can attest to the fact that a good story transcends age and language barriers, much like our beloved Peruvian bear friend.
The much-anticipated sequel of “Paddington,” featuring Ben Whishaw once again in his leading role, is still making its way to cinemas nationwide in the U.S., but fans will have to be patient and wait a little longer than initially planned. Newcomers joining the cherished film series will bring fresh faces to both new and familiar characters. Initially slated for release in January, “Paddington’s Journey to Peru” has been delayed by an additional month before it hits theaters domestically.
The heartwarming movie, “Paddington in Peru,” will hit the big screens nationwide on February 14, 2025, a mere few weeks after its initial release date, January 17. While this family film might not seem like the typical pick for a Valentine’s Day cinema outing, who can resist an exciting escapade starring the charming talking bear? In the meantime, moviegoers in the U.K. have been enjoying “Paddington 3” since November 8. Admittedly, having to wait an extra month to catch it on the big screen in the U.S. might feel like a bit of a delay, but it’s tough not to feel a pang of envy for our friends across the Atlantic.
‘Paddington in Peru’ follows our beloved, marmalade-loving bear as he embarks on an action-packed, risky expedition.
