Notably, it hints at an unprecedented kill count within the franchise, potentially surpassing all previous films in this series. Initially, the original “John Wick” was a story of vengeance, where the protagonist, portrayed by Reeves, sought retribution against the Russian mobsters who stole his car and murdered his pet dog. As events unfolded, Wick was re-immersed in the secret world of assassins, and his kill count escalated significantly across the series. The first film featured 77 kills, which ballooned to an astounding 140 kills in “Chapter 4“. However, the single scene in “Ballerina” seems to have eclipsed the kill counts of the first three movies combined.
