Berlin Festival Adds New Screening Venue for 2025
For the 2025 Berlin International Film Festival, also known as the Berlinale, a fresh screening location has been revealed. This new venue is situated near Potsdamer Platz and will be the Stage Bluemax Theater on Marlene-Dietrich-Platz, which is being transformed into a premiere theater seating approximately 500 people by the time of the 75th Berlinale (February 13-23). This new venue, conveniently located close to the main festival site, the Berlinale Palast, will serve as the base for the newly established Perspectives first feature competition, and it will also host significant premieres from various other Berlinale sections.
