As autumn approaches, we’re nearing the time for holidays and movie marathons. I’m eagerly anticipating the upcoming lineup from networks like GAF, Hallmark, and others on their 2024 TV schedule, especially with the delightful pairings they bring. For instance, Candace Cameron Bure is preparing for her Christmas movie releases, and I can hardly wait to see what she’s cooking up. Interestingly, a former professional dancer from “Dancing With the Stars” has expressed interest in collaborating with her on a future film, and I must admit, that idea intrigues me quite a bit.

In the concluding chapter of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man saga, titled Spider-Man: No Way Home, we witness the entry of Charlie Cox as Daredevil into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, an earlier draft of the script almost included a dated reference to the initial Daredevil film that was thankfully discarded. Apart from Holland and Cox, this movie also brought Jon Favreau back to his recurring role in the MCU as Happy Hogan. Favreau has been a cornerstone of the Marvel Universe since its inception, contributing not only as an actor but also as a director. Interestingly, before he became Tony Stark’s reliable chauffeur/security head/confidant, Favreau portrayed Daredevil’s best friend, Foggy Nelson, in the widely criticized Daredevil (2003).

George R.R. Martin, the genius behind ‘Game of Thrones’, seems to be encountering some challenges in the production of the prequel/spin-off series titled ‘House of the Dragon’. This series, derived from parts of Martin’s 2018 novel ‘Fire & Blood’, is set 200 years prior to the events in ‘Game of Thrones’ and focuses on the infamous “Dance with Dragons,” a war of succession within House Targaryen. The series premiered on HBO on August 21, 2022, and was generally well-received by critics and audiences alike, demonstrating that ‘Game of Thrones’ still had a substantial fanbase despite the divisive finale. However, reaction to Season 2 has been less favorable.
