The TV series FBI: International, slated for fall 2024, kicks off with the Fly Team immediately, featuring new lead Jesse Lee Soffer, known from his work on Chicago P.D., as SSA Wes Mitchell, joining other field agents in action. In the upcoming episode airing November 12th, a team member who typically handles tech support for the Fly Team will be venturing out into the field. Idris Elba will headline an upcoming action-packed movie called “Hammer Down,” which is being directed by Simon Hatt. Hatt, who used to work under James Gunn and has a reputation for co-producing projects like DC’s “The Suicide Squad” and executive producing “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” and the “Peacemaker” series, will be at the helm. Veteran producer Charles Roven, who recently won his first Oscar for Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” and was behind “The Dark Knight,” is set to produce “Hammer Down.” The film is based on a short that Hatt directed in 2020.
