Novocaine Scene Grossed Me Out

TopMob’s review of the film “Novocaine” highly commended its action, focusing on Quaid’s character Nathan who has a unique condition – he doesn’t experience pain. Although he can be hurt, he remains unaware of injuries as they occur. As demonstrated in the video above, I had a chance to interview the 32-year-old actor about his latest project, and he confided that scenes involving Nathan being tortured, such as having his finger nail ripped off, were particularly distressing for him. In his own words:

Double the Trouble: Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan Are Back in ‘Freakier Friday’!

Disney has unveiled the initial teaser for the movie titled “Freakier Friday“, helmed by director Nisha Ganatra, who previously worked on “Late Night“. This time around, Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis return to their characters Tess and Anna Coleman respectively. The plot revolves around a unique twist – a double body swap: Lohan’s Anna exchanges bodies with her daughter Harper (Julia Butters), while Curtis’s Tess trades places with Lily Davies (Sophia Hammons), the daughter of Anna’s new partner. Notable cast members from the original film, including Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal, Haley Hudson, Ryan Malgarini, and Mark Harmon, are also reprising their roles. New additions to the ensemble include Manny Jacinto (“The Acolyte“), Lucille Soong (“Fresh Off the Boat“), Rosalind Chao (“Star Trek: The Next Generation“), Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (“Never Have I Ever“) and Vanessa Bayer (“Saturday Night Live“) who are joining the cast. Recast Roles That Won An Oscar

It’s not always an easy task to find the perfect actors for roles that eventually earn Oscars. For instance, it’s hard to imagine “Lincoln” without Daniel Day-Lewis or “La La Land” without Emma Stone, but these Oscar-winning performances were often the result of recastings. Initially, other performers were meant to play those parts, but events transpired that allowed different actors to step in and give award-worthy performances instead.
