The debut of “Shifting Gears” on Wednesday, January 8th attracted approximately 6.1 million viewers in total, earning a rating of 0.7 among the demographic aged 18-49. This performance appears to be the highest rated show for ABC at 8 p.m. ET in quite some time. Given that Tim Allen and Nancy Dennings have previously starred in popular sitcoms and films, it’s not surprising that they managed to draw a large audience.
Enthusiasts of the Coen Brothers and those yet to discover their work can now watch Fargo for free on Tubi. Much like many of their films, Joel and Ethan Coen penned and directed Fargo, gathering a stellar cast for the production. The movie brought them together with McDormand (who is also Joel’s wife), while incorporating performances from William H. Macy, Steve Buscemi, and Peter Stormare, all of whom delivered memorable, standout roles.
