Over the past few months, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the launch of Marvel Rivals, the highly anticipated game by NetEase, as it was in closed beta. Finally, the big day arrived this weekend, and now even more gamers like myself are diving into its action-packed universe!
Marvel Rivals has swept through the internet, sparking a sensation much like Blizzard’s Overwatch did before it. This collaboration between Marvel and NetEase represents one of their most triumphant video game debuts, perhaps even their best. In just its launch weekend, it attracted over 10 million players, positioning itself to challenge the crowded hero-shooter genre with its extensive lineup of iconic Marvel characters.

However, their time on the set of Robert Eggers’ upcoming movie Nosferatu might surpass all other uncomfortable experiences. This horror film, a modern interpretation of F.W. Murnau’s 1922 silent masterpiece, is filled with eerie visuals and tense atmosphere – traits that Eggers is known for. But, as Corrin shares, the real terror wasn’t in the script but on set, where they had to interact closely with numerous live rats.

The first of the two new projects will be directed by Sébastien Vaniček, known for his work on “Infested”. He recently shared the title and release window for his Evil Dead movie on Instagram.
