
Two iconic movie characters, Indiana Jones (portrayed by Harrison Ford) and Freddy Krueger (played by Robert Englund), are both widely recognized – and there’s more than just their fame that connects them. While their styles might be polar opposites, they both sport a distinctive accessory as part of their signature looks: a fedora hat. However, despite these shared elements, it would be difficult to mistake one character for the other. In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Englund explained how he managed to keep Freddy’s iconic headwear in A Nightmare on Elm Street intact, even against potential changes from creators Wes Craven and producer Bob Shaye.
