As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for streetwear culture, I can’t help but feel a rush of nostalgia upon seeing this stunning collaboration between Palace and Rapha. Growing up in the 80s and 90s, I remember these vibrant graphics and prints taking over the fashion scene, and it’s truly heartwarming to see them resurrected in such a fresh and modern way.
Delighted to share that, following the reveal of our enchanting Fall/Winter 2024 lookbook, I’m thrilled to announce Palace’s newest offering – an exhilarating partnership with Rapha, focusing on cycling essentials!
As a devoted follower, I can confidently say that Rapha has been a consistent partner in the streetwear community, joining forces with Palace on past collections and also aligning with Patta for previous drops. Now, the brand’s recent collaborative project draws inspiration from the vibrant graphics and prints that dominated casual fashion during the 80s and 90s.
During this period, the capsule embraces unconventional partnerships within the cycling industry, as exemplified by Rapha’s 20th anniversary and Past Forward festivities. In collaboration with Palace, they are commemorating iconic styles from that era. By incorporating Palace’s unique sense of humor, some traditional cycling elements like language, colors, and sponsors have been cleverly reimagined in unexpected ways.
The latest addition to our assortment is a fresh Merino Zip Knit piece, complemented by timeless essentials like the Classico Long and Short Sleeve Jerseys. To add a pop of color, we’ve included a lively Shell 6-Panel cap and Merino Soc item in our selection as well.
Have a peek at the fresh Palace x Rapha collaboration displayed here. You can get it starting October 4 at 11am BST from both Palace and DSM. In the EU, it’ll be accessible online at 12pm CEST on the same day, while in the US, you can find it at 11am EDT and 8 am PDT. The collection will also be available at Palace’s New York store at 11am EST and both LA stores as well as through DSM at 11am PST. On October 5, Japan and Korea will receive the drop in-store and online at 11am JST. Lastly, China-Palace WeChat will unveil the collection at 11am CST on the same day. Rapha will make the collection available at its flagship stores and online on October 8 and 9.
