According to News18’s report, the creators aren’t just producing Season 4, but they also have ideas for the fifth installment of the popular series starring Jitendra Kumar. The publication cited the filmmaker as stating that they are already drafting scripts for Season 4. Furthermore, he mentioned that there is typically no gap between their seasons, and they have already written several episodes of the show. This information was provided by Deepak Kumar Mishra.

In an interview earlier this year about Season 3 of Panchayat, Mishra shared that they have ideas for both Seasons 4 and 5 so far. “We have a definite concept for Season 4 and a bigger vision for Season 5,” the director reportedly said.

Additionally, in an interview with PTI, he mentioned that there are typically no pauses in their schedule between seasons since they’ve already begun working on the fourth one. Though they have a defined plan for season four, they are currently brainstorming ideas for season five. He also shared that season 5 is upcoming. According to a report by Navbharat Times, the team plans to start filming for the series, potentially by October this year, following the rainy season.

For the very first time, Panchayat made its debut on Prime Video back in April 2020. A month later in May 2022, Season 2 was unveiled, and this year, in May 2024, we saw the release of Season 3. Given that a new season has been released every two years so far, speculation hints at the next season being launched around 2026.
