‘Parent Trap’ Stars Lindsay Lohan, Lisa Ann Walter, Elaine Hendrix Reunite at ‘Freakier Friday’ Premiere

At the premiere of the supposedly spookier “Freakier Friday” sequel, not only did Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis come together again, but there were other reunions as well.

Lohan joined forces once more with her co-actors from The Parent Trap, Lisa Ann Walter and Elaine Hendrix, at a glamorous event in Los Angeles on Tuesday (see video below).

In the cherished 1998 movie titled “The Parent Trap”, Lindsay Lohan portrayed identical twins Annie and Hallie. Elaine Hendrix played Meredith Blake, Nick Parker’s (Dennis Quaid) self-absorbed and materialistic fiancée, while Natasha Richardson starred as Elizabeth James, Nick’s estranged wife. The plot revolves around the twins, who were separated at birth and raised by different parents – Nick and Elizabeth. After they meet for the first time at summer camp, they devise a strategy to reunite their divided parents.

In the upcoming movie “Freaky Friday,” releasing on Aug. 8, Lindsay Lohan and Coley Sohn take up their roles as mother Anna and daughter Tess again, over two decades since the first film. Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, and Christina Vidal are among those who returned for this sequel. Joining the cast are new faces such as Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Rosalind Chao, Vanessa Bayer, and Chloe Fineman. Moreover, “The Parent Trap”‘s Hendrix can also be spotted in the film.

On a day not unlike any other, 22 years since Tess and Anna experienced a perplexing identity mix-up, finds them now with new additions to their lives – Anna has a daughter and is about to gain a stepdaughter. As they work through the trials of blending two families, Tess and Anna come to realize that fate might just have a knack for repeating itself.
