Paris Hilton is “devastated speechlessly” upon discovering that her Malibu house has been ruined because of the destructive wildfires ravaging Los Angeles.
On Wednesday afternoon, the well-known media figure and entrepreneur posted an emotional message on Instagram, “Spending time with my loved ones while watching our Malibu home burn on live television was a devastating ordeal no one should have to go through. This house held countless cherished moments for us, including when Phoenix took his first steps and where we envisioned creating a lifetime of memories with London.
Even amidst the destruction, Hilton took a moment to remember the joyous moments she shared in that house with her husband, Carter Reum, and their two little ones, Phoenix and London.
Though the grief I feel is immense, I’m clinging to thankfulness that my family remains secure,” she penned. “My sympathies and thoughts are extended to every family impacted by these fires. For those who have lost their houses, memories, and cherished pets, my compassion runs deep. Those still in danger or mourning more substantial losses, I empathize with your pain. The destruction is beyond words. To think that countless individuals are starting their day without the shelter they once knew as home is heartrending.

Hilton further mentioned that her 11:11 Media Impact Team has begun efforts to find the most effective ways to aid affected communities. Additionally, she showed appreciation towards the tireless first responders who are battling the fire.
As a gamer speaking up, I’d like to salute all the fearless firefighters and emergency responders out there. You’re putting your lives on the line for us, and that makes you true champions in my book. I can’t express enough how much I appreciate your bravery, commitment, and the selfless acts of sacrifice you perform daily to keep us safe amidst this unthinkable struggle. From the depths of my gaming heart, thank you.
Wrapping up her message, she urged, “Please prioritize safety and adhere to evacuation instructions. Let’s look out for each other during these challenging times and keep faith that the fires will be brought under control soon. Sending you all lots of love and resilience. We stand united, Los Angeles. Give your loved ones an extra hug tonight, as circumstances can shift unexpectedly.
Hilton joined other residents who had to leave parts of Los Angeles because of the devastating wildfires sweeping through the county. Many famous personalities have expressed on social media that their homes were unfortunately destroyed by these fires, such as Mandy Moore, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, James Woods, Diane Warren, Cameron Mathison, Ricki Lake, and others.
The blaze ignited on Tuesday in Pacific Palisades, and subsequently reached areas of Malibu and Santa Monica during the night. By early Wednesday morning, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported that the Palisades Fire was entirely out of control. Additionally, three other ongoing wildfires in the L.A. region – Eaton, Hurst, and Woodley fires – remain uncontained as well.
