As a devoted fan of sports and Bollywood, I am absolutely thrilled about the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024. The anticipation is building up with each passing day, and the recent appeal from Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and the talented Ayushmann Khurrana has only added to my excitement!
The Paris Olympics in 2024 will mark the 33rd Summer Olympics edition. This highly anticipated sports spectacle is set to start on July 26 and end on August 11. In preparation, Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana have called upon the nation to show their encouragement and enthusiasm for Team India.
Union Sports Minister and Ayushmann Khurrana’s request to cheer for Tema India at Paris Olympics 2024
On July 26th, Ayushmann Khurrana posted two videos on his Instagram. The first video showed him along with Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya encouraging people to support Team India during the Paris Olympics 2024.
When I followed Ayushmann closely during the campaign’s launch, I was the fortunate one to receive a special memento from Mansukh Mandaviya – a commemorative Indian team T-shirt.
In his post, Ayushmann expressed that the Olympics is the most prestigious sports competition worldwide, and the athletes participating in it are truly remarkable champions in their respective fields. We’re proud to have 117 of these exceptional individuals representing our country at the upcoming #Paris2024 Olympics.
I’m absolutely thrilled and couldn’t contain my excitement as he continued speaking. Let me urge you all, let’s join hands and root for them with all our might. Let’s showcase our national pride and prove to the world what we’re made of – resilience, determination, and an unyielding passion for these games. What a privilege it was to meet Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, the esteemed Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports today. Together, let’s embark on this campaign to cheer for our Indian contingent. At 7:30 PM Central European Summer Time on July 26, the Paris Olympics 2024 opening ceremony will commence. The actual games will then kick off at 8:24 PM CEST.
At the Paris Olympics in 2024, we’ll experience something new: an Opening Ceremony held outdoors along the Seine River. Delegations from every nation will be represented by boats, starting their journey beneath Austerlitz Bridge and concluding at Trocadéro’s front.
At the Olympics’ start, the opening ceremony will endure for approximately three and a half hours, wrapping up by 11 pm Central European Summer Time. Yet, fans of sports can continue their jubilation throughout the night, as bars have been granted exception to keep operating until dawn.
Simultaneously, the BBC One channel, BBC iPlayer, and the BBC Sport website and application will all stream the event live, beginning at 5:45 pm in British Summer Time.
