Actress Patralekhaa responded to a user’s query regarding plastic surgery on Reddit, marking her first public comment on this topic. Interestingly, both Patralekhaa and her spouse, Rajkummar Rao, have often been speculated to have undergone cosmetic procedures in the past.

Following Rajkummar Rao’s candid discussion on chin fillers, Patralekhaa was also queried about her views on cosmetic enhancements. During a recent ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Reddit, someone inquired about her thoughts on plastic surgery, lip fillers, and Botox.

Patralekhaa replied with a calm and optimistic sentiment, stating that decisions like these are fine as long as they enhance one’s self-confidence. Her message read, “Go ahead and do whatever boosts your confidence… No criticism here!!

In a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Rao spoke up about the gossip surrounding his supposed plastic surgery. He apparently stated that these were just rumors and traced the misunderstanding back to edited or mis-timed images.

In response to rumors about cosmetic enhancements, he clarified that the popular photo was heavily manipulated digitally. Rao admitted to not wearing makeup when the picture was taken and acknowledged its oddity. He strongly emphasized that he has never gone through any plastic surgery procedure.

Additionally, Rao admitted that approximately eight years prior, he opted for chin fillers at the suggestion of his dermatologist. This choice, made to bolster his self-confidence, left him feeling more assured after the procedure.

In my own words, I’d say pondering over its effects, I realized it significantly boosted my self-assurance and, more importantly, reshaped how others viewed me within the industry. This positive perception opened up more compelling opportunities and allowed for improved performances.

Additionally, he expressed his thoughts about performers choosing to alter their facial structures, pointing out that because acting is a field heavily reliant on visual appeal, it’s understandable for people to seek such procedures. Nevertheless, he also emphasized his belief that cosmetic surgery can be quite expensive and time-consuming.

Currently, on his career path, Rajkummar Rao is all set to feature alongside Wamiqa Gabbi in the film “Bhool Chuk Maaf”. Notably, he also has a role in an upcoming gangster movie titled “Maalik”.
