The “Fantastic Four” movie is scheduled to come out on July 25, 2025. It’s being directed by Matt Shakman, who previously worked on “WandaVision.” The screenplay was written by Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer, with additional contributions from Peter Cameron of “WandaVision.”
The “Fantastic Four” is a pivotal Marvel comic series. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby in 1961 with issue No. 1, this comic marked the beginning of the Marvel Universe, which expanded to include interconnected stories of New York City’s iconic superheroes like Spider-Man and Daredevil. Previously, it was adapted into two films directed by Tim Story during the 2000s, and there was an unsuccessful attempt by Josh Trank in 2015. In the 1990s, a B-movie adaptation produced by Roger Corman remained unreleased.
