Last week, the team behind Peppa Pig made an exciting announcement, and they opted for an unusual method of sharing the news.

Back in February, I was thrilled to learn from the popular kids’ show that Mummy Pig was pregnant. And just recently, in an exclusive episode of Peppa Pig Tales available only on Walmart.com, we discovered she’s expecting a baby girl! What excitement!

In the episode named “Baby Balloon,” Peppa and her sibling George ponder whether they would prefer a new little brother or a little sister. However, if they wish to discover the truth, they must first capture the balloon that carries the solution!

It wasn’t entirely unexpected that the news of Mummy Pig’s pregnancy was given exclusively to Walmart first: Kylie Kelce learned about it during her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast from none other than Mummy Pig herself. Interestingly, Walmart already carries a variety of exclusive Peppa Pig toys and merchandise due to its partnership with Hasbro.

For the first time, Hasbro has teamed up for a gender reveal event, and their Peppa Pig collection extends beyond just figures – it includes vehicles, building sets, and more. Currently, you can purchase the latest Peppa Pig items exclusively on Walmart.com, as they are only available at Walmart stores. However, Hasbro assures that come August, non-exclusive products (including baby pig toys) will be available across the nation.

If you’d like to watch Peppa Pig, you have a couple of options. You can purchase the series on Blu-ray or DVD from Walmart, or you can stream individual episodes via Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, or Netflix. Enjoy your viewing!
