‘Percy Jackson’ Adds Rosemarie DeWitt, Aleks Paunovic in Key Guest Roles (Exclusive)

As a seasoned gamer with a deep appreciation for mythology-infused storytelling, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians! The addition of Rosemarie DeWitt, Aleks Paunovic, Beatrice Kitsos, and Kevin Chacon to the cast promises an even more captivating journey through the world of Percy Jackson.

The second season of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” is expanding its roster, with two actors slated for significant guest appearances.

Actress Rosemarie DeWitt, known for her roles in ‘The Boys’ and ‘Mad Men’, is set to make a guest appearance as the character C.C., while Aleks Paunovic, recognized for his work in ‘Snowpiercer’ and ‘Van Helsing’, has been cast as the cyclops Polyphemus. Additionally, Beatrice Kitsos, who starred in ‘iZombie’, and Kevin Chacon from ‘Jessica Jones’ will regularly appear in the series, portraying demigods allied with Luke (played by Charlie Bushnell).

DeWitt’s character, CC, comes across as a trendy and calm New Age guide whom Percy (Walker Scobell) and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) meet during their search for the Golden Fleece. She exudes warmth and compassion, but readers of The Sea of Monsters, the novel that season two is adapted from, are aware that she hides deeper complexities.

In olden times, a one-eyed giant named Polyphemus once had his sight taken by Odysseus. Nowadays, he resides on a secluded isle where he looks after livestock and fiercely protects the legendary Golden Fleece from others.

In the upcoming series, Kitsos is cast as Alison Simms, a character not present in Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series. This character, a former Camp Half-Blood student who now resides in the human world, is deeply invested in the realm that Kronos envisions, and she supports Luke. Meanwhile, Chacon will portray Chris Rodriguez, a character similar to Luke as they are both sons of Hermes. Notably, Chacon takes over the role from Andrew Alvarez, who played Chris in several episodes during season one.

DeWitt, Paunovic, Kitsos, and Chacon join newcomers Daniel Diemer (Tyson), Tamara Smart (Thalia), Andra Day (Athena), Sandra Bernhard, Margaret Cho, and Kristen Schaal (the Gray Sisters) in the second season. Furthermore, Courtney B. Vance has been cast as Zeus, replacing the late Lance Reddick in this role. Scobell, Jeffries, Bushnell, Aryan Simhadri, and Dior Goodjohn will all return to their roles from the first season.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the next season of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” is being worked on, aiming for a 2025 debut! This exciting series hails from Disney Branded Television and 20th TV. The masterminds behind this production are Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz, along with Rick Riordan, Rebecca Riordan, Craig Silverstein, Bert Salke, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Jeremy Bell, D.J. Goldberg, James Bobin, Jim Rowe, Albert Kim, Jason Ensler, and Sarah Watson. Can’t wait to dive back into the world of Greek gods and mythology!

As a devoted fan, I’d like to share some talent representation details:
