Upon returning to India on August 7th, actor John Abraham greeted Manu and posted a picture with her, expressing that she brought pride to our country.
Today, John Abraham posted a charming snapshot on Instagram featuring athlete Manu Bhaker. In the photo, Manu displayed one of her anticipated 2024 Olympic bronze medals, while John proudly showcased another. Both were beaming with joy in front of the camera.

To those unfamiliar, Manu Bhaker achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the first post-independence Indian athlete to win two Olympic medals in a single edition. She earned a bronze medal in the women’s 10m Air Pistol event and also teamed up with Sarabjot Singh to secure a medal in the mixed team 10m Air Pistol competition. What makes her achievement even more significant is that she became the first Indian woman to win an Olympic medal in shooting.
Following Manu Bhaker’s second victory, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated her on Twitter. He expressed, “Our shooters keep us proud! Kudos to @realmanubhaker and Sarabjot Singh for securing the Bronze medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event at the Olympics. They’ve demonstrated exceptional talent and teamwork. India is incredibly proud.”
