PICS: Sunny Deol celebrates ‘Jaat-tastik’ birthday with co-stars Randeep Hooda and entire team; Bobby Deol is all hearts

As a lifestyle expert with a deep appreciation for the timeless charm of Bollywood, I must say that Sunny Deol’s 67th birthday celebration is nothing short of iconic. His journey in the industry spans decades and his latest film, Gadar 2, has breathed new life into single-screen cinemas, which were struggling due to the poor performance of major Bollywood films.

67-year-old Bollywood heartthrob Sunny Deol, known for his popular films, is currently revitalizing the movie industry with the hit release of Gadar 2 in 2023. On this special day, he marks his birthday by sharing behind-the-scenes photos from his upcoming film, Jaat, on Instagram. Joining him were his co-star Randeep Hooda and the rest of the film’s crew. An unexpected visit was made to the set by single-screen exhibitors who experienced success with Gadar 2.

I recently posted some images showcasing the exciting moment when we all gathered to slice a gigantic custom cake for our upcoming film, Jaat. The director, producer, crew, and my fellow actors were there, along with Randeep Hooda. I was also overwhelmed with gratitude towards Anil Sharma, the producer of Gadar 2, Rajkumar Santoshi, and other esteemed guests who traveled all the way from Hyderabad to extend their warm wishes personally to me.

The most exciting moment at the event was an unexpected appearance by independent cinema owners. Notably, these independent cinemas had been facing difficulties due to the underperformance of significant Bollywood productions. Yet, the release of Gadar 2 managed to attract massive crowds to these movie houses, with videos of people celebrating and dancing in these theaters even becoming popular on social media platforms online.

In his post, The Border actor expressed delight about the heartfelt gesture made by independent cinema theater owners, who traveled from their respective towns and cities. He reminisced about the long-standing bond between his films, these theaters, and the audiences, which has persisted for several decades. He admitted to experiencing a sense of nostalgia as they shared stories from the days of Ghayal, Ghatak, Border, Gadar, and Betaab, and expressed appreciation for the unique appeal Indian cinema continues to hold, particularly in small towns and non-metropolitan cities.

Regarding his professional commitments, Sunny Deol is keeping quite occupied with upcoming projects like Lahore 1947, Jaat, and a sequel to Border titled Border 2.
