As a long-time admirer of Pieter Ceizer‘s vibrant and uplifting artwork, I eagerly anticipate the release of his latest creation, “Good Vibes.” Having followed his journey from Amsterdam to Paris, I can truly appreciate how his unique style has evolved and grown over time. The fact that this piece is his first metal edition artwork, and a departure from his traditional mediums, only serves to heighten my excitement.
In the realm of Amsterdam-native, Paris-residing artist Pieter Ceizer, positivity is perpetual. He’s recognized for his cheerful ‘Woody’ sculptures, vibrant large-scale paintings, and lively collaborations ranging from Paris Saint-German to Uniqlo and beyond. Now, he’s channeling that optimism in a tangible form: through ‘Good Vibes’, his debut metal edition artwork (his previous metal works have all been 1:1 gallery pieces).
A steel artwork titled “Good Vibes” reimagines Ceizer’s mono line drawing style using raw steel and six vibrant colors: yellow, orange, pink, black, navy, and powder blue. The miniature landscape, influenced by a tranquil sunset over the ocean, is depicted with “Good” spelled out in a geometric font seemingly sinking into the water, while “Vibes” (depicted wavy) can be read from the reflection on the water’s surface. The artwork concludes with a gleaming sun, complete with a tiny bird.
This item, titled “Good Vibes”, has dimensions of 17 inches in length, 10 inches in width, and 1 inch in height. It comes equipped with five metal pins and a standing hook for secure attachment to walls or any other flat surfaces. The production of this piece is limited to only 20 units. It arrives in a wooden collector’s case that bears a matching screenprint on its front face. Anticipate its availability on Ceizer’s online store at precisely 12 PM CET on Friday, September 13.
