Since the Beach Resort event in Pikmin Bloom is ongoing until the 30th, it seems like things are getting pretty exciting for Pikmin fans. But if you find yourself getting too heated up, perhaps it’s time to take a break? And luckily for us, Pikmin Bloom has released a new Shaved Ice decor Pikmin to help us chill!
In August, from the 1st to the 30th, you can expect the introduction of new Pikmin alongside the return of Ice Cream: 2024 Flavor and Summer Sticker Decor Pikmin. These adorable characters seem to have jumped into a bowl of shaved ice, making them a delightful addition to the current collection of summer-themed Pikmin.
It’s possible that if you’re not from East Asia or similar regions, you may be unfamiliar with what shaved ice is. However, this delightful dessert made from shaved ice and sweet syrup is indeed a traditional summer favorite in certain areas around the globe, particularly Japan.
Sweet as syrup
Keep an eye out for event challenge missions that’ll offer random rewards. Everything from Fruit Syrup Bottles, which function as seedlings that grow into Shaved Ice Decor Pikmin, to flower petals and other items. In addition, a Big Flower located at the centre of the stage will periodically bloom and offer a Gold Seedling on top of other rewards.
Adventures with the freshly introduced scrumptious Pikmin (remember, they’re not edible!) commence as soon as the event begins. If you’re seeking some respite from the sun and want to escape the heat, now would be a perfect moment to leave the beach behind and join in the fun instead!
